Erreà, a historical Italian company specializing in the production of high-tech sportswear, has more than 2,000 points of sale in over 80 countries. It is the technical sponsor of numerous sport clubs, from amateur groups to the largest Italian and international teams, across various disciplines such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, rugby, and many others.
The company produces 4 million items and sells over 5.7 million pieces per year.
Erreà needed to manage all its current sites – Erreà, Erreà Republic, 3D Wear Active Tense, and Goalkeepers Academy – from a single portal, channeling all visits of these secondary portals onto a single platform. Each site had to have fully customizable elements – without having to modify the page code – in order to ensure complete independence in changing content, such as images, banners, text, video, and so forth. The new company goals included not only selling through the e-commerce, but also communicating and establishing the Brand, in order to improve users’ overall shopping experience.
To implement the www.errea.com website and B2C management, we developed a new multi-site and multi-market platform based on integrating Magento and TYPO3 6.3. This allowed us to build an e-commerce site with a strong editorial ability to promote the brand and effectively support web marketing activities.
