Webformat is an official member of TYPO3 Association that supports cms TYPO3 development. Webformat is a web services consultant specialized in TYPO3 website implementation, as well as coaching and support.

TYPO3 ASSOCIATION

TYPO3 Association is a non-profit organization, founded in 2004 by the core development team of TYPO3 led by Kasper Skårhøj. The mission of the association is the development support of cms TYPO3 and the managing of all administrative and security aspects of the project.

The Association bodies consist of:

  1. Board which deals with administrative and legal matters.
  2. General Assembly, the highest authority, elects the members of the Board and meets annually. All active members have the right to vote.
  3. Committees are groups of experts dealing with specific topics regarding TYPO3 communication, security matters, usage of funds, events and

The activity of the committees is of greater importance because of the professional and expertise of the contributors which work on particular projects like TYPO3 individual certification, logo design, new releases roadmap and so on. There are at present 4 teams working on:

  • quality control: works on HTML quality control of any TYPO3 script; one of the main project in progress is the issueing of the official Individual Certification of TYPO3 developer;
  • research and development: is the core development team of the TYPO3 association, scheduling all the releases and extensions creation. It also supervises the GA activities;
  • administration: works on and checks the correct execution of adminsitrative and legal matters of the association in order to support and give answers to the community of TYPO3;
  • communication and event: deals with anything concerning TYPO3 media information and event, with a particular concern for institutional TYPO3 web sites.
