TYPO3 - the powerful, easy to use Open Source Enterprise CMS
TYPO3 is an open source ECMS (Enterprise Content Management System) with a free content management license that facilitates creating, managing and administering even very large and complex web sites with a simple browser.
The reason for implementing a CMS such as TYPO3 is that it makes the publication of content easy and automated as much as possible. TYPO3 improves the efficiency of content production by presenting a shared environment in which authors, editors, supervisors and managers can collaborate, each on the basis of his editing permissions in the common publication workflow. Each professional has access to a workspace and highly customizable specific functionality based on the permissions granted her by the site administrator.
TYPO3 is exceptionally flexibile in assigning rules for editing, sharing and publishing content. Thanks to its back end available in 43 languages, it allows efficiently distributing management and publication tasks even between persons of different languages and locations. TYPO3 completely separates text from its presentation, making it an ideal solution to reduce maintenance costs to a minimum.
TYPO3 is freely released under the GPL open source license. It is constantly updated, stable, and secure. A community of over 60,000 developers in 80 countries supports over 250,000 installations and 3000 extensions.
