Profile:

The School of Mosaic Art is located in Spilimbergo, internationally recognized as the City of Mosaic Art. Beside the training activity of young mosaicists, based on the ancient terrace art of Friuli, the school is an active artistic institution in national and international art market. It is a real artistic laboratory in which mosaic art encounters the creative formulas of visual arts and most of all of urbanistic design and architecture. 

Project:

  • accessible website design project to present the school and its training and artistic reality
  • web gallery of the mosaic works of art 

Solution: 

  • website was realized according to the accessibility standards in order to extend visualization of contents to disabled users
  • the photo gallery was thematized and divided in specific areas in which each artwork is accurately and completely described 
  • the accessible photo gallery realization allowed the detailed visualization of the artistical paths.
